Sign in with Apple and Google now opens your browser and brings you back signed in. First public release of MakeVox for Mac.
How to install, and what the Mac app adds
- Open MakeVox-0.1.2.dmg from your Downloads.
- Drag MakeVox onto Applications, the way the arrow points. If the Applications icon looks like a blank square, drop it there anyway. Updates only install there.
- Open MakeVox and sign in with your MakeVox account. There’s nothing else to set up.
- Write offline for as long as you need. Your changes wait on the Mac and sync when you reconnect.
- The pictures in your stories are kept on the Mac too, so they show up offline.
- A daily backup of each story goes into Documents › MakeVox Backups.
- Updates download and install themselves. You choose when to restart.
Writing with AI, new pictures and film still need a connection. The app tells you when one is needed.
