Writing with AI
Scaffold your story from a structure
3 min read
A blank outline is a hard place to start. If you want a spine to write against, MakeVox can scaffold your outline from a named story structure. You pick the shape, it lays out the beats, and you talk your way through them.
Pick a structure
MakeVox offers three well-worn shapes: the Three-Act Structure, a 15-Beat Story Structure, and The Hero's Journey. Choose the one that fits the story you want to tell, or the one you already think in.

Beats become sections
Picking a structure drops its beats into your outline as sections, each with a short hint of what goes there. From there it is your outline. Fill a section by voice, reorder them, or delete the ones you do not need.
Tip. Scaffolding is optional and additive. It only adds sections, so it will not disturb anything you have already written. Ignore it entirely if you would rather find the shape as you go.

Your AI assistance dial: Shape, Co-write, Direct
One dial sets how much the AI does, from polishing your own words to drafting from a brief. Shape is the default, and you can change it per story.
Write a novel by voice
Talk your novel into being, speak scenes as they come to you, let MakeVox shape them into prose, and keep the whole book in your own voice.
